As a Shift Lead, you will lead by example on the floor, ensure smooth operations, and create an environment where customers and team members feel valued. Responsibilities
- Craft beautiful coffee and matcha products.
- Provide exceptional hospitality to customers.
- Support the General Manager and help train new employees on recipes and operational processes.
- Open and close the store safely and responsibly, following all checklists.
- Handle and solve customer issues.
- Lead store-level initiatives to increase foot traffic, sales, and profitability.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service leadership position, preferably in hospitality, coffee, or beverage.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Able to lift 25+ lbs and stand for long periods.
- Strong knowledge of coffee and/or matcha.
- Availability for 30-40 hours per week, including 2 peak days (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday).
- You must be authorized to work in the U.S.: upon acceptance of a job offer and completion of the Form I-9 with acceptable documents, Blank Street will provide the federal government with employees’ Form I-9 information to confirm authorization to work in the U.S. (a process known as ”E-Verify”).
