This hands-on leadership position requires you to lead by example on the floor, ensure smooth operations, and create an environment where both customers and team members feel valued. Responsibilities
- Craft beautiful coffee and matcha products.
- Provide exceptional hospitality to customers.
- Support the General Manager and help train new employees to succeed, ensuring they follow all recipes and operational processes.
- Open and close the store safely and responsibly, following all checklists.
- Handle and solve customer issues.
- Lead and support store-level initiatives that increase foot traffic, new customers, daily sales, and operational profitability.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience in a customer service leadership position (e.g., Shift Leader, Shift Supervisor, Key Holder), preferably in hospitality, coffee, or beverage.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Able to lift 25+ lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- Availability that meets the needs of our cafes, including 30-40 hours per week, 4-5 days per week.
- Must be able to work 2 peak days (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday).
- Weekend and holiday availability preferred.
- You must be authorized to work in the U.S.: upon acceptance of a job offer and completion of the Form I-9 with acceptable documents, Blank Street will provide the federal government with employees’ Form I-9 information to confirm authorization to work in the U.S. (a process known as ”E-Verify”)
