About the role
Coinbase is seeking a Senior Sales Associate to join the Infrastructure team. In this remote-first position, you will focus on developing new partnerships with payment service providers (PSPs), fintechs, and banks that want to launch stablecoin payment products on the Coinbase platform. The company operates with a remote-first model but expects employees to attend quarterly in-person working sessions known as “surges.”
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage high-potential prospects among PSPs, fintechs, and banks to create new partnership opportunities.
- Manage the full deal lifecycle, from initial diligence through negotiation and close, while coordinating with legal, compliance, and technical teams.
- Translate Coinbase’s stablecoin infrastructure capabilities into clear value propositions for senior partner stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product, Account Management, Solutions Architecture, and other internal teams to ensure smooth partner onboarding and integration.
- Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to leadership to help shape the infrastructure roadmap.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or partnerships at a PSP, fintech, bank, or crypto company.
- Proven track record of originating and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Working knowledge of the payments and trading ecosystem, including stablecoins, cross-border payments, card networks, and digital wallets.
- Ability to communicate complex technical and crypto concepts clearly to executive audiences.
- Experience using generative AI responsibly to improve workflow efficiency and quality.
Pay and benefits
- Annual base salary range: $195,670 to $230,200 USD.
- Base salary varies by location.
