About the role
Lyft is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to join the Accounting team in Nashville, TN. You will support bi-weekly payroll processing for the US and Canada, maintain records, and help develop payroll policies. This hybrid position requires working in the office three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday) once the local office is established.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for assigned US and international regions.
- Audit compensation, benefits, and leave of absence data.
- Coordinate leave of absence payments and return-to-work dates with vendors.
- Assist with payroll tax audits for quarterly equity vesting and ESPP plans.
- Maintain SOX compliance and reconcile payroll records.
- Develop and document payroll initiatives to streamline processes.
- Provide customer service to employees regarding pay and deductions.
- Prepare accurate and timely tax reports.
Requirements
- BS degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant payroll experience.
- Experience with mobile workforce, multi-jurisdictional payroll, and equity vesting is preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience with Workday, ADP Globalview, or Dayforce is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
