About the role
MongoDB is looking for an experienced Product Manager 2 to join the Finance Technology team. You will partner with the Product Lead for Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Travel & Expense (T&E) to deliver the product roadmap. This position sits at the intersection of Finance, Procurement, and Technology, aiming to scale spend-management operations through intuitive experiences and intelligent automation.
Responsibilities
- Shape and prioritize the S2P and T&E roadmap, translating business objectives into clear product outcomes.
- Lead product discovery, strategy, and requirements definition, including PRDs, user stories, and release plans.
- Partner with Engineering, Data & Analytics, and Security to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions.
- Drive improvements in procurement, invoicing, travel booking, and expense submission workflows.
- Identify and implement practical AI opportunities, such as document understanding, anomaly detection, and conversational support.
- Define responsible AI requirements, including data quality, human oversight, and explainability.
- Monitor product metrics like adoption, cycle time, and user satisfaction to measure business value.
- Ensure product decisions support access controls, auditability, and SOX compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of product management experience or equivalent experience in enterprise technology.
- Proven experience owning an enterprise product from discovery through delivery and adoption.
- Experience with Source-to-Pay, procurement, accounts payable, or related Finance operations.
- Strong understanding of enterprise business-system concepts, including workflows, integrations, and controls.
- Demonstrated AI fluency, including the ability to translate AI capabilities into responsible enterprise product opportunities.
- Experience with platforms like Coupa, Concur, NetSuite, Brex, or comparable spend-management solutions is a plus.
Pay and benefits
The base salary range for this role in the U.S. is $78,000 to $154,000. Compensation is based on skill set, experience, and work location.
