About the role
Twilio is seeking a Principal Manager to lead its Procurement Enablement and Contingent Workforce initiatives. In this remote-first position, you will guide a team of four program managers focused on process governance, enablement, and improvement. You will oversee key procurement systems and drive the adoption of AI-driven solutions to streamline buying experiences and contingent workforce hiring.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of four Procurement Enablement and Contingent Workforce program managers.
- Manage procurement systems including Oracle P2P, Ironclad CLM, and Pursuit RFP.
- Design and deploy AI-driven conversational intake systems to replace static forms.
- Redesign the end-to-end Contingent Workforce process to simplify hiring for managers.
- Oversee the global Contingent Workforce program and VMS management.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with AP, Accounting, Security, and IT.
- Lead the development of an external supplier landing page and sustainability reporting.
- Partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure proper contracting and KYS screening.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience managing procurement systems, S2P processes, and contingent workforce programs.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle Cloud Procurement and participation in ERP redesigns.
- Experience implementing procurement agentic solutions for process simplification.
- Familiarity with Contingent Workforce redesign and VMS systems like Beeline.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and relationship-building skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
