About the role
Fairmont Kea Lani is a luxury all-suite resort located on the south shore of Maui. As a Pool Attendant, you will be part of the team delivering authentic Hawaiian hospitality and personalized service to guests. This is a part-time position that allows you to live and work in a beautiful tropical setting while developing your professional skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and professional service to guests at the pool and beach areas.
- Assist guests with seating, towel registration, and refreshments.
- Maintain cleanliness of pool decks, lawns, and surrounding areas by removing debris.
- Ensure pool chairs are properly arranged and safety rules are strictly enforced.
- Monitor water slides and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
- Adhere to food handling safety standards and promote the resort’s environmental initiatives.
- Complete side work and shift duties as directed by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of customer service experience.
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment is desirable.
- Valid TB Clearance, CPR, and First Aid Certification.
- Water Safety Certification is a plus.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
