HydraForce, a Bosch Rexroth company, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer I to join their team in Vernon Hills, IL. You will play a key part in optimizing manufacturing operations by combining technical skills with continuous improvement methods. This position connects production teams with engineering leadership to solve challenges and boost efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with production cells to prevent and resolve issues with products, tooling, or machinery.
- Analyze and design manufacturing cells that meet Lean Manufacturing standards.
- Develop technical procedures for HydraForce manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot production failures and identify root causes to reduce recurrence.
- Collect data and create technical reports on production performance.
- Support current and new product introductions through the APQP process.
- Ensure all manufacturing safety policies are implemented and maintained.
- Stay updated on new manufacturing technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- 0-2 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Proficiency in tool design, modifications, and 3D modeling software.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and statistical analysis skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and excellent communication skills.
- Indefinite U.S. work authorization is required. Future sponsorship for work authorization is unavailable.
Pay and benefits
- Compensation range: $78,000-$85,000.
