About the role
Equinox is seeking a results-driven Licensed Massage Therapist to join their Summit, NJ team. You will help members maximize their potential by taking a multimodal approach to manual therapy and movement science.
Responsibilities
- Perform 25, 50, 80, and 110-minute deep tissue, sports, prenatal, and Swedish massages in a professional setting.
- Analyze client needs and create programmatic treatment plans.
- Ensure the treatment room is cleaned after each session and at the end of each shift.
- Maintain compliance with state regulatory boards regarding intake forms, waivers, and SOAP notes.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid NJ license or certification.
- Ability to generate new business and retain clients through treatment programs.
- Evening and weekend availability is required.
- In-depth understanding of anatomy and movement in relation to soft tissue manipulation.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn, positive energy, computer literacy, and ethical conduct.
- Must have a legal right to work in the United States.
