About the role
Support the dining team at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, Arizona’s largest and longest-running AAA Five Diamond hotel. As a Server Assistant, you will help create a memorable guest experience by supporting Food & Beverage colleagues and maintaining high standards of service in a luxury environment.
Responsibilities
- Support servers: Assist with table clearing, setting, and stocking side stations with silverware, glassware, and condiments.
- Maintain presentation: Ensure tables are perfectly aligned and polished, keeping items free of fingerprints and smudges.
- Manage supplies: Monitor water levels, stock linen pars, and organize supplies before, during, and after shifts.
- Keep the dining room clean: Pick up debris, clean spills, and ensure chairs and banquettes are tidy.
- Learn the menu: Gain complete knowledge of products, procedures, and restaurant standards.
Requirements
- At least one year of previous food and beverage experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a focus on guest needs.
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work cohesively as part of a team.
