About the role
Work at Fairmont Kea Lani, a luxury all-suite resort on the south shore of Maui. This part-time position focuses on preparing guest rooms for the evening, ensuring a welcoming and restful environment. The role is based in Wailea-Makena, HI.
Responsibilities
- Perform turndown services, including making beds, dusting, and arranging guest belongings.
- Replace soiled linens and replenish amenities.
- Clean bathrooms and vacuum rooms as required.
- Report maintenance needs for bedding and room fixtures.
- Coordinate with Room Dining to remove trays and trolleys.
- Update room status records accurately at the end of each shift.
- Maintain clean and organized linen closets and supply areas.
- Provide personalized, courteous service to guests.
- Follow safety protocols and report any suspicious activity or lost items.
Requirements
- Warm, caring personality with a professional demeanor.
- Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
- Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
- Willingness to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Must possess identification proving authorization to work in the United States per IRCA. This position does not offer work visa sponsorship.
