As a Guerlain Spa Retail Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring every visit is personalized, seamless, and tranquil. This position blends high-end guest service with retail expertise, requiring you to promote spa treatments and products while maintaining the elegance of the Raffles brand.
Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Provide a warm welcome, personalized service, and escorts to changing rooms, relaxation areas, and the pool.
- Operations: Perform check-ins and check-outs, handle payment transactions for treatments and retail, and manage telephone reservations with proper etiquette.
- Retail & Sales: Offer tailored retail recommendations, upsell treatments to maximize therapist utilization, and keep the retail display elegant and well-stocked.
- Standards: Maintain a clean and clutter-free reception area, adhere to Raffles Brand Standards, and ensure your appearance meets professional grooming standards.
- Reporting: Verify payment accuracy at the end of each shift, report any discrepancies to supervisors, and notify management of any accidents or injuries.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a luxury hotel or spa front-of-house position.
- Sales Skills: Previous experience in luxury retail sales, preferably in a spa environment, with strong product knowledge and the ability to recommend products.
- Technical: Computer literacy, preferably with knowledge of spa reservation systems.
- Physical: Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours with shift rotations.
- Soft Skills: Passion for guest care, interest in holistic lifestyles, and strong telephone skills.
Pay and benefits
- Hourly Wage: Introductory rate of $26.88 per hour. Upon successful completion of the 90-day probationary period, the rate increases to $29.87 per hour.
