About the role
Join the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle as a Full-Time Server Assistant at The George Restaurant. This position supports the service team in delivering a high-end dining experience to guests. The role is full-time and requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Support servers in meeting guest needs promptly to ensure an outstanding dining experience.
- Prepare dining areas by arranging table settings and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Welcome guests to create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain smooth service flow.
- Deliver food and beverages to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and proper presentation.
- Respond to inquiries and special requests with courtesy and professionalism.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: At least two years of high-volume restaurant serving experience is preferred, but not required. The employer is willing to train the right candidate.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Authorization: Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA.
- Certifications: Food Handlers Card and MAST permit required.
- Physical requirements: Ability to stand throughout the shift, lift and carry up to 25 lbs at shoulder height, and perform duties involving repetitive bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.

- Wage: $22.66 per hour plus tips.
