About the role
Palantir is seeking a Finance Operator to join the Office of the Chief Financial Officer in New York, NY. This is a full-time, hands-on position where you will work on high-priority, highly visible projects. You will partner with the CFO and company leaders to drive execution on complex, fast-moving challenges. The role requires flexibility to move between corporate, finance, governance, and commercial matters as needs evolve.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the CFO’s team and senior leaders on strategic initiatives and sensitive matters.
- Provide practical judgment and strategic support across various corporate and business issues.
- Assess complex or ambiguous situations, identify risks, and drive decisions to completion.
- Coordinate cross-functional work with Finance teams and external advisors.
- Manage projects related to corporate transactions, investments, governance, and operations.
- Travel significantly as business needs require.
Requirements
- A law degree and experience practicing law in-house, at a law firm, or in a similarly demanding environment.
- Strong judgment and the ability to apply it pragmatically to business decisions.
- Resourcefulness and a willingness to take on work outside a defined specialty.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders.
- Sound judgment, discretion, and composure when handling sensitive or high-pressure matters.
- Experience in investment banking, corporate environments, consulting, accounting, or other finance-related roles is preferred but not required.
Pay and benefits
- Salary range: $135,000 – $200,000/year.
- Total compensation may include Restricted Stock Units, sign-on bonuses, and other future incentives.
