About the role
Okta is seeking a Director of Blueprint Technical Activation to own the technical integration layer that enables secure AI adoption. You will serve as the technical counterpart to the GTM/Activation leader, focusing on architecture, integration strategy, and execution. This role involves working across Okta Product, Engineering, and partner teams to solve complex challenges and turn customer solutions into repeatable products.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize customer needs: Work with O4AA customers to identify integration challenges blocking deployment and maintain a prioritized backlog based on demand and revenue impact.
- Solve and scale integrations: Design and build integrations where existing products fall short, creating reusable reference architectures and code patterns.
- Turn customer needs into product: Partner with Product teams to translate requirements into roadmap changes and shipped capabilities.
- Build the technical ecosystem: Collaborate with strategic technology partners to develop joint architectures and enable partner engineering teams to deploy solutions.
Requirements
- 10+ years in solutions architecture, integration engineering, partner engineering, field engineering, or technical leadership in enterprise security, identity, cloud, or SaaS.
- Experience leading complex technical programs across customers, engineering, product, and technology partners.
- Hands-on technical depth to design, build, review, and troubleshoot integrations.
Pay and benefits
- San Francisco Bay Area: $232,000 – $290,000 USD annual base salary.
- California (excl. SF Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington: $207,000 – $259,000 USD annual base salary.
- Additional compensation includes equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave).
