About the role
21c Museum Hotels combines a contemporary art museum, boutique hotel, and chef-driven restaurant to create a unique guest experience. As a Banquet Bartender, you will provide timely and friendly service while preparing high-quality beverages for our guests. This is a part-time position that requires a positive attitude and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare drinks according to recipe standards and service steps.
- Know drink names, ingredients, glassware, and garnishes.
- Be familiar with wines by the glass and at least five wines in each category on the list.
- Understand specialty beverages such as single malt scotches, cognacs, and the beer list.
- Maintain stock at par levels and complete daily inventory reports.
- Verify that all guests are at least 21 years of age.
- Report all income received during shifts accurately.
- Maintain a clean and orderly service area.
- Assist with server shifts when needed.
Requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication skills in English (speaking, reading, and understanding).
- Strong beverage knowledge and enthusiasm for the 21c brand.
- Must pass a background check.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
