About the role
Glossier is seeking an Associate Store Director to join the leadership team in Atlanta. You will help drive a people-first employee experience rooted in authenticity, integrity, and empathy. As part of the store’s leadership, you will lead, inspire, and develop a best-in-class team to create exceptional customer experiences. You will support the Store Director in executing people and business objectives while fostering a safe, equitable, and inclusive environment for both employees and customers.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Coach and develop store team members, drive inclusive talent acquisition, and promote a culture of clear communication and recognition.
- Customer Experience: Model service principles, maintain a constant presence on the sales floor (at least 60% of the week), and support the testing of new customer experiences.
- Business Leadership: Analyze business results, create strategic team schedules, and manage budgets in partnership with the Store Director.
- Division of Responsibility (DOR): Serve as the champion for a specific area such as Product, Customer Experience, Logistics, Visual Merchandising, Operations, or Partnerships & Facilities, with rotations over time to build well-rounded expertise.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience leading teams in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
- Demonstrated experience in growing diverse teams and investing in the development of managers and team members.
- Proven ability to motivate teams, maintain high engagement, and show empathy while driving action.
- Track record of delivering measurable financial, operational, and customer experience results.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for beauty as a conduit for connection and personal narrative.
