About the role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a Tyre Service Supervisor to join their team in Kano. This full-time position focuses on supervising tyre service operations, evaluating tyre performance, and providing technical support to customers and the Sales team. The role is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in tyre inspection, maintenance, and management for commercial trucks and buses.
Responsibilities
- Conduct wheel, fleet, and scrap tyre inspections to identify maintenance issues.
- Lead the Truck Force team to ensure effective service delivery and safety compliance.
- Train customers and their personnel on proper tyre care and maintenance.
- Provide technical support to the Sales team and report on competitor activities and market trends.
- Evaluate tyre and product performance to recommend technical solutions.
- Supervise tyre maintenance, management, and Truck Force service activities.
Requirements
- Hands-on tyre technical experience is mandatory.
- Grade B: 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Grade A: 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong technical, communication, reporting, and team supervision skills.
- Proven practical experience in tyre inspection, maintenance, management, or servicing.
- Experience in fleet tyre operations or commercial truck/bus tyre maintenance is highly desirable.
