About the role
Ascentech Services Limited is hiring a Truck Force Supervisor to join their Technical Services and Fleet Operations team in Kano. This is a full-time position focused specifically on tyre maintenance, inspection, and performance management for commercial truck and bus fleets. It is not a general vehicle maintenance role; practical tyre expertise is the core requirement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct complete wheel, tyre, and scrap tyre inspections for the fleet.
- Identify tyre-related maintenance issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Train customer personnel on proper tyre maintenance practices.
- Provide technical support to the Sales team.
- Conduct product and tyre performance evaluations.
- Report on competitor and market information.
- Lead the Truck Force team and oversee service activities.
Requirements
- Mandatory practical, hands-on experience in tyre maintenance and inspection.
- Experience in tyre management, tyre service, or fleet tyre operations.
- Background in commercial truck or bus tyre maintenance.
- Experience in Truck Force operations or similar tyre service environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of tyre products, wear patterns, and performance.
- Preferred backgrounds include tyre manufacturers, distributors, or OTR/industrial tyre operations.
