About the role
Ascentech Services Limited is recruiting a Territory Development Officer to join their team in Eti Osa, Lagos. This full-time position focuses on driving business growth, expanding market presence, and increasing customer acquisition within assigned territories. The role requires a strong background in field sales, merchant acquisition, and relationship management within the fintech industry.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Drive merchant, agent, and customer acquisition for fintech products and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, agents, and stakeholders.
- Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve assigned targets.
- Identify potential markets and partnerships to increase product adoption.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
- Ensure effective onboarding and activation of newly acquired merchants and agents.
- Track sales performance and prepare territory reports for management.
- Resolve customer and merchant concerns to ensure satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
- BSc/HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in fintech, preferably in territory development, field sales, or agent network management.
- Good understanding of digital payment solutions, POS services, and agency banking.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and grow business within assigned territories.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to conduct regular field visits and develop new business opportunities.
- Good knowledge of the Eti-Osa business environment is an advantage.
