About the role
Phillips Outsourcing Limited is seeking a Technology Controls & Assurance Officer to join their team in Lekki, Lagos. This is a full-time, permanent position. The company has over 16 years of experience managing resources for major clients across Nigeria and is expanding into other African nations.
Responsibilities
- Perform tests on user access, privileged access, and segregation of duties.
- Review ERP change requests, development processes, and emergency changes.
- Assess the integrity of audit logs, backups, and incident records.
- Support technology, process, and ISO 27001 reviews while maintaining working papers.
- Manage the findings and action tracker, following up with owners for evidence.
- Prepare dashboard data, trend analysis, and committee packs.
- Maintain secure evidence repositories and version control.
- Escalate any suspected cyber, privacy, or fraud issues through approved channels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT audit, IT controls, ERP support, security governance, or assurance coordination.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as CISA, CRISC, ISO 27001, CIA, ACA/ACCA, or Microsoft/data credentials.
- Technical knowledge of access control, SDLC/change management, logs, backup and recovery, Excel, SQL, Power BI, and cloud controls.
- Strong integrity, confidentiality, and project coordination skills.
