About the role
JB Limited is a power solution engineering company looking for a reliable and technically aware Technical Driver. This full-time position is based in Ikeja, Lagos. You will support field service operations by ensuring the safe and timely movement of personnel, tools, and equipment to customer locations.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport service technicians, tools, spare parts, and equipment to customer sites.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and securing tools and equipment during transit.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and maintained.
- Report vehicle faults, maintenance needs, or incidents promptly.
- Support technicians with basic on-site activities, including handling tools.
- Maintain accurate vehicle movement records and trip logs.
- Comply with traffic regulations, company policies, and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE or a relevant technical qualification.
- 3–5 years of experience as a professional driver, preferably in technical, engineering, or logistics support.
- Valid driver’s licence and competence in driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of Lagos roads and routes.
- Physically fit to assist with loading and unloading equipment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations and outside Lagos when required.
