About the role
Paga is a leading financial services company in Nigeria dedicated to making money access simple for everyone. We are looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our team in Yaba, Lagos. This is a hybrid role where you will report to the Client Service Manager. You will be responsible for managing partners on the sales pipeline, acquiring new partners, and optimizing relationships with existing ones to grow our developer solution business.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Developer Solution sales pipeline to increase acquisition and activation.
- Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and sponsors.
- Provide technical support to customers before and after activation.
- Train customers on using Paga developer solution products.
- Answer product-related queries in a timely manner.
- Provide reports to developers and stakeholders on product performance.
- Develop ideas and lead the team to pursue new business opportunities in Nigeria, Africa, and beyond.
- Communicate product status updates to the team and stakeholders.
- Liaise with other departments regarding proposals, projects, legal, and support issues.
- Ensure 24/7 access for clients and partners to address requests or issues.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues using tools like Postman and API management consoles.
- Guide developers through integrating REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs, and authentication protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Product Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Technical Account Manager, Integration Engineer, or Developer Support.
- Experience in technical support and sales.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON/XML, Webhooks, HTTP/S, and API authentication.
- Experience with fintech payment systems, banking rails, or high-volume transactional platforms.
- Strong people management, technical, and sales skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues in real time.
- Willingness to travel within and outside Nigeria on business.
