About the role
Siemens Energy Limited is looking for a Team Leader to join their team in Port Harcourt, Rivers. This is a full-time position where you will lead and develop the Field Service & Repair team supporting the Compression business across Nigeria and West Africa. You will provide technical and operational guidance to field service professionals while working closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage resource planning, scheduling, and allocation to meet field service requirements.
- Coach and mentor team members, conduct performance reviews, and support professional development.
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of field service jobs, from pre-planning and mobilization through execution and post-job analysis.
- Ensure field service activities comply with quality standards, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
- Monitor operational performance against key indicators for safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Act as a key operational contact for external customers and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and present reports covering team performance, operational status, and key challenges to regional management.
Requirements
- Significant experience in Field Service Engineering within the Oil & Gas industry, specifically involving compression equipment.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership capacity, managing technical professionals.
- Strong experience in field service operations and operational planning within a technical service environment.
- Skills in operational planning, EHS&Q, stakeholder management, compression systems, and financial control.
- Strong communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities.
