About the role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Abuja (FCT) on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely procurement and product availability across all branches.
- Oversee sourcing, purchasing, vendor selection, and supplier relationship management.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with Finance, Inventory, Warehouse, and Operations teams to improve performance.
- Establish procurement budgets, performance indicators, and reporting systems.
- Develop and execute effective procurement and supply chain strategies.
- Use data analytics to improve demand forecasting and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate procurement, warehousing, inventory planning, logistics, and distribution.
- Conduct supplier evaluations, market research, and cost-benefit analyses.
- Analyse procurement costs, pricing trends, and supplier performance.
- Develop strategies to reduce costs without compromising product quality.
Requirements
- A Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related discipline is mandatory.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in procurement and supply chain management.
- Proven experience in structured retail, FMCG, or large-scale distribution organisations.
- Strong skills in procurement, negotiation, vendor management, and cost optimisation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and analytical reporting tools.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS or CSCP are an added advantage.
- Strong commercial awareness, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities.
- Exceptional analytical skills to interpret complex data and drive business decisions.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required.
- Experience studying outside Nigeria is an added advantage.
