About the role
WTS Energy is seeking a Supply Chain Management Lead 3 to oversee commercial procurement for growth projects and wells. Based in Lagos, this position focuses on securing contractor capabilities and long-lead supplies for upstream developments, refinery expansions, and capital engineering packages.
Responsibilities
- Lead supply chain management for growth projects, including contractor prequalification, competitive tenders, and commercial negotiations.
- Develop and implement contracting strategies for drilling services, engineering, construction, and equipment.
- Manage major tenders, schedule risks, and claims.
- Oversee onshore E&P and refinery supply interfaces, contractor-led execution, and remote-site logistics.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian Content requirements and applicable regulatory permissions from NCDMB, NUPRC, or NMDPRA.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification in supply chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- 10–15 or more years of experience in wells or capital-project contracting, including major tenders and schedule risk management.
- Experience with Nigerian onshore execution and local content requirements.
- Background in onshore E&P and refinery supply interfaces, critical equipment, and operational shutdowns.
- Must be based in Nigeria.
- Preferred: MCIPS or equivalent demonstrated professional capability.
