About the role
Glorisco Enterprises Nigeria is a fast-growing retail chain that supplies consumer goods and services through multiple distribution channels. We are looking for a Supervisor to join our team in Owerri, Imo. This full-time position involves leading daily supermarket operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, and supporting the company’s goal of satisfying customer demands through a streamlined supply chain.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming supermarket environment for customers.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
- Ensure employees perform their duties effectively and in line with company policies.
- Contribute to improving sales, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.
- Collaborate with cashiers, inventory managers, sales representatives, and other staff.
- Oversee stock management, product arrangement, and shelf replenishment.
- Monitor staff punctuality, attendance, and performance.
- Report daily activities, challenges, and operational issues to management.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of supermarket staff.
- Monitor sales activities to ensure proper accountability.
Requirements
- Minimum of BSC/HND in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Previous supervisory experience, preferably in a supermarket or retail business.
- Good numerical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage staff and resolve workplace challenges.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of sales operations and inventory management.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve business objectives.
- Honesty, integrity, discipline, and accountability.
