About the role
Kiyix Recruitment Hub is looking for a Supermarket Manager to join their team in Ebute-meta, Lagos. This is a full-time position within the retail sector. The role offers a monthly salary of N200,000.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the supermarket section.
- Supervise, coordinate, and manage supermarket staff.
- Ensure proper product display, pricing, and shelf arrangement.
- Monitor stock levels, replenishment, and product availability.
- Ensure proper handling of goods and minimize stock losses, damages, and wastage.
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve revenue.
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer complaints.
- Supervise cashiers and ensure proper sales and cash accountability.
- Monitor product expiry dates and ensure timely removal of expired products.
- Prepare daily and periodic sales and operational reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in supermarket or retail management.
- Experience managing a supermarket within a pharmacy or retail establishment is an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of inventory control, sales management, and customer service.
- Ability to work with sales targets and operational reports.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
