About the role
Talent Recruitment 360 is hiring a Subsea / Pipeline Engineer to support offshore projects in Lagos. This is a contract position focused on pipeline integrity, design, and installation within the Oil & Gas sector.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with DNV, ASME, API, and project-specific standards.
- Support offshore installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Assess corrosion, buckling, fatigue, and other pipeline integrity risks.
- Develop and review pipeline design calculations, specifications, drawings, and engineering reports.
- Evaluate pipeline wall thickness, stress, stability, expansion, and free-span requirements.
- Support pipeline route selection, installation analysis, and subsea tie-in design.
- Review contractor procedures and vendor documentation.
- Coordinate with subsea, structural, geotechnical, materials, and construction teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Petroleum, Marine, or another relevant Engineering discipline.
- 8–12 years of relevant subsea or pipeline engineering experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven experience in offshore pipeline design, installation, or integrity management.
- Familiarity with relevant pipeline engineering software and industry standards.
- Knowledge of pipeline design codes, riser systems, flowlines, and subsea connections.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
