About the role
Ernst & Young (EY) is looking for a motivated professional to join their Transfer Pricing team in Lagos. This full-time position offers the chance to work with a diverse client portfolio and gain exposure to complex international tax issues. You will help build trust and confidence in capital markets by delivering high-quality tax services.
Responsibilities
- Assist with filing transfer pricing and Country-by-Country Reporting obligations to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepare transfer pricing documentation, including Master Files and Local Files, in line with OECD guidelines.
- Conduct economic and functional analyses to support transfer pricing positions.
- Perform benchmarking and comparability studies using relevant databases.
- Support the development of transfer pricing policies and strategies for clients.
- Assist in managing transfer pricing audits and controversy matters.
- Collaborate with tax, legal, and finance teams on transfer pricing issues.
- Stay updated on changes in transfer pricing regulations and tax laws.
- Contribute to business development, including proposal preparation and client presentations.
- Mentor graduate trainees and interns.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field with a minimum of second class (upper division).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in transfer pricing.
- Strong understanding of OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines and local regulations.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
