About the role
Nile University, a private multidisciplinary institution in Abuja, is seeking a result-oriented Specialist, Education & Business Intelligence. You will join the Nile Digital Education Department to help drive data-informed decision-making across the university.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain education and business intelligence dashboards.
- Analyze data related to enrolment, retention, progression, completion, and finances.
- Create performance indicators and institutional scorecards.
- Conduct trend and variance analysis.
- Build forecasting and scenario models.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and operational improvement.
- Prepare executive reports and management insights.
- Integrate data from various institutional systems.
- Establish data definitions, reporting standards, and governance practices.
- Support strategic planning through evidence-based analysis.
- Monitor competitor, market, and education-sector trends.
- Collaborate with business units to turn data into strategic actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in BI, analytics, or business intelligence.
- Advanced skills in Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel.
- Experience with data modelling and dashboard development.
- Strong commercial and analytical acumen.
- Experience in education-sector analytics is an advantage.
