About the role
Philban Consulting Limited is seeking a skilled and professional Spa Therapist and Masseuse to join their wellness team in Ikeja, Lagos. This full-time position focuses on providing high-quality massage treatments, spa therapies, and body treatments to promote relaxation, stress relief, and overall client well-being. The ideal candidate will have excellent massage techniques, strong communication skills, and a passion for creating a relaxing and hygienic environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage treatments, including Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, hot stone, and relaxation massage.
- Deliver spa treatments such as body scrubs, body wraps, and other wellness therapies.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and treatment expectations.
- Assess client comfort levels and identify any contraindications before treatments.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation in treatment rooms and equipment.
- Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client preferences.
- Monitor and replenish spa supplies and report any damaged equipment or shortages.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure a comfortable and satisfying client experience.
Requirements
- Relevant training or certification in massage therapy, spa therapy, beauty therapy, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of massage techniques, spa treatments, and client care.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to hygiene and professionalism.
- Previous experience working in a spa, wellness centre, hotel, or similar establishment is an advantage.
