About the role
KAAF Specialist Hospital is a healthcare provider dedicated to offering high-quality obstetric, gynaecological, and paediatric services. We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Sonographer to join our team on a part-time basis. This role focuses on delivering gentle, high-quality diagnostic ultrasound care while maintaining strong patient relationships.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts scans, following clinical protocols.
- Review and analyze scan outputs for clarity and diagnostic accuracy before physician evaluation.
- Provide exceptional patient care, explaining procedures clearly and ensuring comfort throughout the process.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure the unit is ready for use.
- Document clinical findings and patient history accurately in the electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with medical officers, registrars, and front desk staff to manage patient flow efficiently.
- Maintain strict punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Medical Sonography or Radiography from an accredited institution.
- Current practicing license and registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) or relevant authority.
- 2 to 3 years of clinical hands-on sonography experience.
- Strong ethical standards, reliability, and patient-centered communication skills.
- Proximity to Akoka/Yaba is strongly preferred to ensure consistent commuting.
