About the role
Uridium Technologies is a leading enterprise technology integrator established in 2016. We specialize in deploying scalable ICT infrastructure solutions for clients in banking, telecommunications, education, oil and gas, and government sectors. We are looking for a Software Tester / Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team in Lekki, Lagos.
In this position, you will ensure that software applications and digital products meet quality standards, functional requirements, and business needs before deployment. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to deliver reliable and user-friendly software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Software Testing: Review requirements, develop test plans, and perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects, verifying fixes and conducting regression testing.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test results, defect reports, and test evidence.
- System Testing: Conduct testing of web applications, mobile apps, APIs, and enterprise software, including database and integration testing.
- Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts, support CI/CD processes, and perform API testing using tools like Postman.
- Collaboration: Work with developers to improve testability and conduct root cause analysis for recurring defects.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Degree in a relevant field.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in software testing or QA.
