About the role
International Facilities Services (IFS) Group is a leading integrated facilities management provider in West Africa. We are looking for a hands-on Soft Services Manager to join our team in Lagos. This full-time position reports to the Facility Manager and focuses on leading the soft services workforce, managing sub-contractors, and ensuring high standards of service quality and cost control.
Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise daily, periodic, and deep-cleaning programmes, as well as grounds maintenance and pest control routines.
- Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance, including safe systems of work and chemical handling.
- Coordinate soft services readiness for events and peak periods to maintain a presentable facility.
- Manage specialist sub-contractors for services such as fumigation and waste disposal.
- Handle escalations and stakeholder requests professionally to maintain a strong service culture.
- Produce performance reports tracking SLA/KPI attainment, trends, and incidents.
- Manage the soft services budget, consumables, chemicals, and equipment.
- Lead, roster, and develop the soft services team and supervisors.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance through inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree.
- 8-10 years of relevant experience.
