About the role
CodelabProjects is an AI-first technology and services company looking for a results-driven Social Media Manager / Digital Marketing Specialist. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Abuja. The role focuses on developing digital marketing strategies that increase brand visibility, generate qualified leads, and drive revenue growth. It is not just a content-creation role; you must understand how to convert digital engagement into measurable business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Social Media & Digital Marketing: Create and manage campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement. Monitor trends, competitors, and audience behavior. Coordinate high-quality content across social media, websites, and email. Maintain consistent brand positioning and collaborate with design and sales teams.
- Lead Generation & Sales: Conduct outbound cold calls and follow up with prospects via calls, email, and social media. Identify potential customers and present solutions. Monitor lead-to-customer conversion and work with sales teams to nurture leads. Maintain accurate records in CRM systems.
- Analytics & Performance: Optimize strategies based on data and feedback. Prepare regular reports for management. Track KPIs such as conversion rates, engagement, and website traffic. Conduct market research and test different content approaches to improve ROI.
- Customer Engagement: Respond promptly to enquiries across digital platforms. Identify customer concerns and communicate insights to management. Support campaigns that improve retention and brand loyalty. Build strong relationships with prospects and online communities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional experience in social media management, digital marketing, sales, or a related role.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience generating qualified leads and converting them into sales.
- Strong copywriting, communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience with digital marketing tools, CRM systems, and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok).
- Practical experience with cold calling, outbound sales, and lead qualification.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Availability to work on-site in Abuja.
