About the role
Good Neighbours Microfinance Bank is looking for an SME Officer to join their team in Ikeja, Lagos. This is a full-time position where you will help drive business growth and manage customer relationships within the SME sector.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Monitor and manage existing loan portfolios to ensure timely repayment and mitigate credit risk.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of deals, meeting monthly and quarterly targets.
- Provide prompt responses to customer enquiries on products or existing account queries.
- Submit activity reports, such as daily call reports, weekly and monthly work plans, to keep management informed.
- Provide strategic and marketing plans to enable the attainment of GN MFB Revenue and profitability goals.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Team Lead.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in SME banking in a financial institution.
- HND / B.Sc Degree in Marketing or any other relevant course of study.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, as well as meet deadlines.
- Good interpersonal relationship and analytical skills.
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing and closing business loans and maintaining a quality portfolio.
