About the role
Proten International is looking for an experienced Site Coordinator to manage luxury woodwork and interior fit-out projects. You will supervise the on-site execution and installation of custom kitchens, wardrobes, cabinets, vanities, TV units, doors, and wall cladding. This full-time position is available in Abuja (FCT), Port Harcourt, and Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily site activities and supervise the installation of bespoke woodwork and joinery.
- Interpret shop drawings and technical specifications to ensure accurate execution.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Prepare installation schedules and monitor site progress.
- Resolve technical challenges to minimize project delays.
- Ensure proper handling and protection of finished woodwork.
- Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports and snag lists.
- Enforce health and safety procedures on project sites.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Wood Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ relevant experience in luxury woodwork, bespoke joinery, or interior fit-out.
- Proven experience supervising the installation of custom kitchens, wardrobes, and cabinets.
- Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing, finishing, and installation processes.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with wood materials such as veneers, laminates, HPL, MDF, and plywood.
- Valid driver’s licence.
