About the role
Fadac Resources and Services Limited is seeking a Showroom Manager to lead daily operations at their Gwarinpa, Abuja location. This full-time position focuses on driving sales, managing the retail team, and ensuring high standards of customer service and product presentation. Candidates must reside in or near Gwarinpa, Abuja.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day showroom operations to ensure smooth and efficient running.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet monthly and annual sales targets.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
- Monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure excellent customer service and handle escalated complaints professionally.
- Ensure staff have adequate knowledge of products, features, and pricing.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue.
- Maintain proper product displays, pricing, and presentation standards.
- Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment, and support inventory reconciliation.
- Analyze customer buying patterns and monitor competitor activities.
- Prepare regular sales and performance reports.
- Train and coach sales staff on product knowledge and selling techniques.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail sales, showroom management, or a similar role.
- Previous experience managing a sales team is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Experience in electronics, home appliances, or consumer goods retail is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, team management, and customer service skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Good knowledge of retail operations and inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with POS/retail systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
- Must reside in or around Gwarinpa, Abuja.
