About the role

The company trades more than 40 million MT of volume annually and is committed to sustainable food production. We are looking for a Shift Miller to join our team in Tincan B (TCB), Nigeria. This position focuses on driving operational efficiency and ensuring seamless coordination across functions.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily milling operations to maximize plant performance.
- Maintain product quality and extraction levels according to defined parameters.
- Execute production plans and monitor process performance.
- Troubleshoot milling issues and optimize equipment performance.
- Maintain production and shift reports, including downtime tracking.
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, GMP, QMS, FSMS, and 5S standards.
- Control operational costs and minimize process waste.
- Lead and train milling teams to ensure operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Food Science.
- NABIMS certification or Diploma in Milling from a recognised milling school (preferred).
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in wheat milling.
- Proven experience in production and milling operations (flour/feed products).
- Experience managing independent operations and leading teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of milling processes and equipment.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
