About the role
SANY Nigeria, a subsidiary of the global SANY Group, is hiring Service Engineers to support its operations in Abuja, Kano, Lagos, and Rivers. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and technical support of heavy-duty equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensuring equipment functionality and safety while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Installation and Commissioning: Assemble, install, and commission SANY products according to manufacturer specifications. Conduct testing to ensure equipment safety and functionality.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime. Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools.
- Technical Support: Assist customers with technical questions and provide guidance on product usage and maintenance.
- Field Service: Respond to service calls, conduct onsite inspections, and coordinate visits with customers.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate service records, maintenance logs, and repair reports. Report on equipment performance and improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 3–5 years of experience in field service and equipment maintenance.
- Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
