About the role
Elvaridah Limited is seeking a results-driven Senior Sales Executive to join their retail team in Ilupeju, Lagos. This full-time position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule. You will report directly to the Head of Retail and serve as a key leader in driving store performance and sales strategy. The role focuses on overseeing both in-store and online sales targets while supporting the broader business growth objectives of the company.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide the sales team to ensure individual and team targets are met or exceeded.
- Assist with merchandising and showroom layout to maximize sales opportunities.
- Track and report sales performance, team activity, and store trends to the Head of Retail.
- Coordinate with marketing and inventory teams to align promotions and stock availability.
- Ensure accurate product listings and descriptions on the e-commerce platform.
- Provide expert product guidance to customers and staff.
- Prepare reports, schedules, and sales tracking documents using Microsoft Office tools.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally.
- Build new client lists and identify new retail opportunities.
- Lead by example by engaging clients and closing sales.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of retail sales experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior sales role.
- Strong people management skills and the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and product content management is an advantage.
- Experience in the furniture or interior design industry is highly desirable.
