About the role
Elevare Human Solutions Limited is seeking a results-driven Senior Procurement Officer to join their client’s team in Lagos. This full-time position focuses on overseeing procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely acquisition of quality goods and services at competitive costs. The role offers a net monthly salary of ₦300,000.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute procurement activities in line with organisational requirements and approved budgets.
- Manage sourcing, evaluation, selection, and acquisition of goods and services.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contractual conditions.
- Conduct market intelligence, price benchmarking, and competitive bidding processes.
- Coordinate with warehouse, finance, and operations teams to meet business needs.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare reports on procurement expenditure, savings, and supplier performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five years of relevant procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience.
- Demonstrated experience in supplier negotiations, strategic sourcing, and cost optimisation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with procurement, inventory, or ERP systems.
- CIPS certification or an equivalent professional qualification is an added advantage.
