About the role
Hyde Energy Limited is a leading oil trading and marketing company operating in Nigeria and across West and Central Africa. We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Inspector (Offshore) to join our team in Lagos. This position requires strong technical expertise in mechanical inspection and quality assurance within the oil and gas sector.
Responsibilities
- Prepare daily inspection and QAQC reports.
- Monitor onshore fabrication and offshore installation activities.
- Witness welding, NDT, PWHT, coating, pressure testing, and dimensional control.
- Inspect materials, raise NCRs, and sign off ITRs.
Requirements
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP III, NDT Level II, or CSWIP Plant Inspection certification (as applicable to the role).
- Strong HSSE awareness and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Valid BOSIET, OSP, and offshore medical fitness certificate.
- Working knowledge of ISO, API, DNV, and ASME codes.
