About the role
Our client, a consumer goods and packaged food (FMCG) company, is looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager. You will lead brand development, consumer engagement, and product launches across packaged food categories. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Lagos, with regular travel as required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement brand strategies to support business growth and market positioning.
- Manage the brand portfolio and identify opportunities to improve awareness and sales.
- Conduct consumer research and market analysis to understand customer needs.
- Support product development, packaging decisions, and new product introductions.
- Plan and coordinate product launches, consumer activations, and promotional campaigns.
- Manage relationships with advertising agencies and creative partners.
- Coordinate digital marketing activities and communication channels.
- Prepare and manage marketing budgets and evaluate campaign effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Sales and Commercial teams to support business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 8 to 12 years of relevant FMCG marketing experience.
- At least three years managing brands, product launches, agencies, or teams.
- Experience in the Nigerian packaged food or consumer goods market is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience planning and executing successful product launches.
- Good understanding of the Nigerian general trade environment.
- Strong communication, analytical, planning, and coordination skills.
