About the role
Kimeric Nigeria Limited is a reputable provider of onshore and offshore supply and engineering services to the oil and gas industry in Nigeria and West Africa. We are seeking a Senior Geoscientist to join our team in Lagos. In this position, you will integrate geological, geophysical, petrophysical, reservoir, and production data to support field development, reservoir management, and hydrocarbon recovery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated geological and reservoir models.
- Identify and mature development and production opportunities.
- Provide geological input into well planning, drilling, and workover operations.
- Conduct geological risk and uncertainty assessments.
- Support field development planning and reservoir management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize hydrocarbon recovery.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior geoscientists.
Requirements
- Minimum of a BSc in Geology or a related Geoscience discipline.
- Minimum of 9 years’ relevant experience in an operating Exploration and Production environment.
- Strong expertise in production/reservoir geology, geological modelling, and reservoir characterisation.
- Proficiency in Petrel or equivalent geological interpretation and modelling software.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
- A higher degree or relevant professional qualification is an added advantage.
