About the role
Dangote Industries Limited is seeking a Senior Engineer – Production to join its team in Ibese, Ogun. As part of one of Nigeria’s most diversified business conglomerates, you will play a key role in managing plant operations and ensuring high-quality product output.
Responsibilities
- Manage plant operation and process control for kilns, raw mills, cement mills, and coal mills.
- Coordinate, supervise, and train Central Control Room (CCR) operators.
- Ensure product quality conforms to internal specifications and implement ISO systems and safety standards.
- Coordinate autonomous maintenance with shift patrollers to achieve targeted plant availability.
- Troubleshoot operational problems to ensure sustained equipment running.
- Achieve optimum fuel efficiency, power consumption, and workforce utilization.
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc./HND in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 9 years of Cement Plant experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment with critical thinking and sound judgment.
