About the role
Kemslis Pragmatic Limited is seeking a Senior Business Development Officer to join their team in Victoria Island, Lagos. This full-time position focuses on originating quality lending and financial business opportunities. You will be responsible for understanding clients’ funding requirements, developing appropriate financing solutions, and managing the sales pipeline. The role requires close collaboration with Credit, Operations, and Risk teams to ensure timely processing and successful conversion of opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across targeted market segments.
- Market the company’s lending and financial solutions to prospective and existing customers.
- Conduct client visits, business meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Engage prospective borrowers to understand their financing requirements and proposed use of funds.
- Prepare and submit complete and accurate business proposals and supporting documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive retention and repeat transactions.
- Track individual performance against assigned origination, disbursement, and revenue targets.
- Ensure all customer onboarding and transaction documentation complies with company requirements and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Professional qualification in Banking, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
