About the role
A leading engineering manufacturing firm in Nigeria is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. You will report directly to the Chief Accountant and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Support accurate manufacturing accounts, monthly reporting, and inventory management.
- Handle production costing, reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and assist with statutory reporting and audits.
Requirements
- 4-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
- Sound knowledge of costing, inventory accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP or accounting systems.
- BSc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ICAN qualification is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership, and ability to meet deadlines.
