About the role
Penafort Energy Limited is a Nigerian, values-driven company operating in energy, retail, beverages, and automotive services. We are looking for a disciplined and proactive Security Supervisor to oversee daily security operations at our Festac Town, Lagos premises. This full-time position focuses on maintaining a secure environment for staff, customers, and company property.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of security personnel.
- Monitor CCTV systems and report suspicious activities promptly.
- Coordinate emergency responses for fire, medical issues, and security threats.
- Liaise with management and relevant security agencies as needed.
- Develop and enforce security procedures, protocols, and access controls.
- Investigate security breaches, theft, and misconduct.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections to identify risks.
- Prepare daily security, incident, and shift handover reports.
- Ensure the discipline and professional conduct of the security team.
- Monitor entry and exit points for staff, visitors, and vehicles.
- Ensure strict compliance with company security policies.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND / NCE qualification; relevant security certification is an advantage.
- 3–5 years of proven experience in security operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in supervising security in supermarkets, malls, retail, or corporate environments is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, personnel management, and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of security procedures, access control, CCTV, and emergency response.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Physically fit with a high level of integrity and discipline.
